Pickleball, the social way

Pickleball socials — rally first, brunch after

Ten minutes to learn, a lifetime of "one more game" — and the only hard part left is getting six people to the same court at the same time. That bit is ours. LMTW runs hosted pickleball socials of six: matched by generation and pace, a human checks every crew, the court is booked and revealed 24 hours before, and the coffee after is very much part of the plan. Live across Australia, founding now in the US, the UK and Kuala Lumpur — first session free.

Come for the rally, stay for the people

Pickleball didn’t explode because of the dink — it exploded because it’s the most social sport ever invented. Small court, constant rotation, a built-in excuse to talk between points. What it doesn’t fix is the admin: finding players your level, your neighbourhood, your schedule.

That’s the club’s job. Tell us your city and when you’re free; we match six players by generation and pace — a human reviews every new group — and a hosted session lands in your week. A club Captain keeps the rotation fair and the introductions easy, so nobody stands at the fence pretending to stretch.

How a pickleball social works

  • You join free — city, generation, and how social vs competitive you like it
  • We match six players — human-reviewed, so the pace actually matches
  • The court is booked — members vote on venues, winner revealed 24 hours before
  • You play — social doubles, easy rotation, nobody keeping score too loudly
  • Then the good bit — coffee, brunch or a long lunch with the same six. That’s where the friendships happen

Where we play

Australia is live today — Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and Canberra: pickleball socials in Australia.

Founding crews are forming now in the US (New York, LA, Austin, Chicago, Miami), the UK (London, Manchester, Edinburgh, Bristol, Brighton) and Kuala Lumpur — founding members play free and first courts go to the first neighbourhoods to fill.

Already got a regular four? Circles keep your crew private with the same one-tap booking — and when you’re two short, open the night to the club and we’ll fill the gaps with people who actually show up.

Common questions

Do I need to be good at pickleball?

No. Sessions are social, not graded — most crews are beginners-to-intermediate. If you can hold a rally, you’re overqualified.

What does it cost?

Founding members play free — the first credit pack is on us and the launch price locks for life. After that a get-together is 12 credits (about $6), plus any court hire the venue charges.

Where do sessions happen?

Bookable courts from the club’s venue directory — members vote on the shortlist and the winner is revealed 24 hours before. Court hire covers paddles and balls where needed.

Is this a league?

No ladders, no ratings, no playoffs. Hosted social sessions of six — competition optional, conversation guaranteed.

Your court’s waiting

Six players, a booked court, and brunch already pencilled in. First session free for founding members.
