Pickleball socials — rally first, brunch after
Pickleball is the fastest-growing sport in the country for a reason: ten minutes to learn, a lifetime of "one more game". LMTW runs hosted pickleball socials of six across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide — matched by generation and vibe, court sorted, and the coffee or long lunch after is very much part of the plan. Free for founding members.

Come for the pickleball, stay for the people
Every pickleball group chat has the same problem: someone’s away, someone’s injured, someone ghosted after one session. LMTW solves the numbers. You tell us your city and when you’re free; we match six players of roughly your generation and pace — beginners genuinely welcome, "haven’t played since school" doubly so — and a hosted session just appears in your week.
A club Captain keeps the rotation fair and the introductions easy, so nobody stands at the fence pretending to stretch. After the last rally, the crew heads somewhere nearby — courts are picked so the debrief over coffee or lunch is a short walk, not a logistics exercise.
How a pickleball social works
- You join free — tell us your city, your generation and how social vs competitive you like it
- We match six players — human-reviewed, so the pace actually matches
- The court is booked — members vote on venues from the club directory, revealed 24 hours before
- You play — social doubles, easy rotation, nobody keeping score too loudly
- Then the good bit — coffee, brunch or a long lunch with the same six. That’s where the friendships happen
Already got a regular four?
Bring them. Circles let your existing crew keep its own private sessions — invite-only, same booking flow, no strangers unless you want them. And when two of you can’t make it, opening the night to the club fills the gaps with people who actually show up.
Singles, doubles-first-timers, "I just moved here and know nobody" — all welcome. Friends first; romance welcome, never required.
Common questions
Do I need to be good at pickleball?
No. Sessions are social, not graded — most crews are beginners-to-intermediate. If you can hold a rally, you’re overqualified.
Where do sessions happen?
At bookable courts from the club’s venue directory — members vote on the shortlist and the winner is revealed 24 hours before. Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide today, more as the club grows.
What does it cost?
Founding members play free — the first credit pack is on us, and the launch price locks for life. After that a get-together is 12 credits (about $6), plus any court hire the venue charges.
Can I keep it to people my own age?
Yes — crews are matched by generation, so a 28-year-old and a 68-year-old are never blindly paired. Your crew, your pace.
Your court’s waiting
Six players, a booked court, and brunch already pencilled in. First session free for founding members.
