You bring the vibe. We run the till.
If you run events in New York, Los Angeles, Austin, Chicago and Miami, you know the unpaid second job: the group chat, the headcount guessing, the “sorry, can’t make it” at 6pm. LMTW — now founding in the US — deletes it. The club fills your seats, takes payment by Stripe at booking, tracks every dollar in a per-night register, and pays your share out on request — in the bank within 1 business day. Hosting is always free; the only thing the club takes is a commission on paid tickets.

Get paid, properly
A paid night on LMTW runs on real ticketing, not IOUs. Guests book and pay through Stripe Checkout, receipts land instantly, and your share of every ticket is yours from the moment it sells. The club’s commission is 20% as standard — and it only goes down: 15% at Silver, 10% at Gold as you host more. No subscription, no listing fee, no “organizer plan”. If the night is free, the till never opens.
When you want the money, ask for it. Payouts are on request, settled by bank transfer within 1 business day — not a monthly batch you wait for, not a minimum you chase. The wider earnings picture, including the Denz Coin rewards the club pays for unpaid club nights, is on get paid to host.
Know who’s paid and when
The Captain’s Office keeps a payments register for every night: each guest, what they paid, when they paid it, and how — a cash-priced ticket or Denz Coins. Refund status sits on the same line, so “did she get her money back?” is a glance, not an email thread.
Come reconciliation, the register is the truth: every ticket ties to a Stripe receipt, every payout ties back to the nights that earned it. The club processes refunds itself, so a refunded ticket never reaches your payout and you never play debt collector.
Run the night end-to-end
The toolkit doesn’t stop at the money. On the night you get a door list with attendance marking — names, paid status, and who’s actually walked in. Broadcasts reach your confirmed crew in one message: the venue reveal, the rain plan, “we’re at the table by the window”.
After the night, the per-night P&L closes the loop: ticket revenue, your share, expenses with receipts attached, and a CSV export for whoever does your books. Changes to a paid night go through club approval, so a sold ticket is never silently moved. The craft of the room itself — arrivals, introductions, the close — is taught free in the Captain Academy.
The room fills itself
LMTW is a members’ club, and membership is what fills your seats. Members buy credit packs — 50 credits for $25 — and spend them on nights out; a get-together runs about 12 credits. On paid nights they book a ticket instead. Either way, a booking has a price and a no-show has consequences, so the headcount you see is the headcount you get.
That’s the structural difference from the platforms you’re probably using now: Meetup charges organizers a monthly fee and leaves the seat-filling to you; we charge nothing and fill the seats by matching members into your night. The honest side-by-side is here: LMTW vs Meetup.
Where you’ll be hosting
The US club is founding now — first crews forming in New York, Los Angeles, Austin, Chicago and Miami. Founding Captains run the first paid nights as each city fills, with the Australian playbook already proven behind them. If you’ve ever wanted to be the one who started it in your city, this is that moment.
Common questions
How much do organizers earn on a paid night?
Your share is the ticket price minus the club commission — 20% standard, stepping down to 15% at Silver and 10% at Gold as you host more. On top, every night you host earns Denz Coin rewards: +12 credits per night, +3 for a full house, and +25 every five nights, gated on real attendance.
How and when do payouts land?
On request, from the Captain’s Office. Ask for a payout and it settles by bank transfer within 1 business day. The payments register reconciles every ticket to a Stripe receipt, so the number you see is the number that lands.
What happens with refunds?
Refunds are club-processed — you never handle them yourself. Refund status shows against each guest in the payments register, and refunded tickets never appear in your payout.
What does it cost to host?
Nothing. No organizer subscription, no listing fee, no per-event charge — the club takes a commission on paid tickets only, and free club nights are free end to end. Compare Meetup, which charges organizers around US$24 a month whether the events fill or not.
Who brings the guests?
The club. Members are matched into your night by generation, interests and intent, every new group is human-reviewed, and every booking has a price — so seats turn into people. You host; you never promote or chase.
Is this running in my city?
The US club is founding now in New York, Los Angeles, Austin, Chicago and Miami — founding Captains form the first crews and the first paid nights open as each city fills. The club is live in Australia and Malaysia, so the toolkit is proven before it lands.
