Wine tasting without the tasting-note theatre
Natural drops, skin-contact whites, and a table of six who’d rather argue about the wine than perform at it. LMTW wine nights are running now across Kuala Lumpur. Free for founding members.

For people who like wine, not wine talk
You don’t need to know what "forest floor" smells like. You need a good glass, five people who aren’t insufferable about it, and a host who can say "this one’s funky, fight me" without anyone leaving early. That’s the night we run.
Crews are matched by generation and palate-courage — from "red, please" to "I have opinions about pét-nat" — and a Captain keeps the pours moving and the snobbery at zero.
How a night runs
- Join free — city, generation, how adventurous your glass gets
- We match six tasters — human-reviewed, so the table talks wine and everything else
- Vote on the venue — wine bars and bottle-shop back rooms from the club directory, revealed 24 hours before
- Taste — hosted, guided but never lectured
- Keep the crew — circles make a good table a standing one in Kuala Lumpur
Beyond the glass
The club runs 50+ activities across Kuala Lumpur — degustations and long lunches are the natural pairings.
Local flavour: from Bangsar to Mont Kiara, with the mamak debrief after.
Common questions
Do I need to know about wine?
Absolutely not. The only requirement is liking a good glass and a better conversation. The host guides; nobody grades you.
Is this a singles thing?
Friends first — romance welcome, never required. Intent is on every seat, so nobody guesses.
What does it cost?
Founding members start free. After that a get-together is 12 credits — about RM6 — plus what you drink.
Non-drinkers?
Welcome — tell us at booking and the venue lines up a serious non-alcoholic list. The night is about the table, not the ABV.
Good wine needs witnesses
