A NiceToMeet alternative where every generation gets a seat
If you’ve been reading NiceToMeet reviews and wondering what else is out there: LMTW runs the same kind of warm, small-group, in-person get-togethers — with three differences. Every generation is welcome (18 to 80, matched into crews your own age), there are eleven activities, not one format, and it’s free for founding members. Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide.

First, credit where it’s due
NiceToMeet (nicetomeet.com) understood something important: plenty of people over 45 want new friends, not new followers, and they want to meet them in person over something enjoyable. Friendship-focused, small-group, real venues — that instinct is spot on, and if you’re over 45 and it’s working for you, genuinely, good on it.
LMTW exists for the people that model leaves out — and for the people who want a bit more from it.
Where LMTW is different
Every generation is welcome. NiceToMeet focuses on the over-45s. LMTW welcomes anyone 18 or over — and because crews are matched by generation, that never means a 52-year-old lands at a table of twenty-somethings. You pick your crew: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X, Baby Boomer. Same warmth, wider door.
Eleven activities, not one format. Some weeks you want a long lunch; some weeks you want pickleball and a laugh. LMTW runs coffee catch-ups from $5, breakfast club, long lunches, dinner parties of six, games nights, gigs, fine dining, pickleball and social sport, run clubs, bushwalks and arts outings — any day of the week.
Free for founding members. Join during the founding window and your first get-together is free, with your price locked for life. No card required to save your seat.

The part nobody else built: after the get-together
The hardest part of making friends as an adult isn’t the first meeting — it’s the second. LMTW handles it properly. After every get-together you can privately mark who you’d like to see again. Your answer stays secret unless it’s mutual; if it is, you’re connected into circles and chat, and the next long lunch practically organises itself.
It’s the mechanic that turns one nice afternoon into an actual social life — and it works exactly the same whether you’re 28 or 68.
Which should you choose?
If you’re over 45, want friendship-focused small groups and you’re happy with a paid service, NiceToMeet is a legitimate option and we won’t pretend otherwise. If you want that same warmth with more activities, more flexibility on price, and a proper way to keep the friendships going afterwards — or you’re simply not over 45 — save a seat with us and see the difference. Common questions
Is LMTW only for over-45s like NiceToMeet?
No — LMTW welcomes everyone from 18 to 80. Crews are matched by generation, so you’re always seated with people your own age. Over-45s are very welcome; they’re just not the only ones at the club.
Is LMTW free?
Free for founding members: join during the founding window and your first 50-credit pack is free — about four get-togethers — with your $25 pack price locked for life. After that, get-togethers cost 12 credits each (about $6) from a $25 pack of 50 credits; no subscription, ever. No card required to join.
Is this a dating service?
No. LMTW is friends-first: plenty of members are partnered, and nobody needs to be single or looking. Romance happens sometimes — welcome, never required. Mutual-only follow-ups after each get-together work for friendships exactly the same way.
